Once the client’s visualization for the project is established, careful thought and planning is put into place to ensure every minor detail has been carefully considered and deliberated before production begins.

Using a wide variety of professional standard camera equipment, and utilizing an array of different techniques I aim to capture and create the highest quality video and audio content for your project.

A good work-flow, careful manipulation and a range of experience (behind the camera as well as countless hours in the post production studio), means that every project is fine-tuned to the client’s exact demands.

About Me

2012 | Livigno | © Nathan Connolly (17)

With over ten years experience skiing and competing across the world, as well as a former member of the British Freeski Team, I also share a strong interest in the film industry.

Having spent a lot of my life in the mountains, I have a good background for the outdoors and have used this knowledge and experience whilst working on projects across the world with some of Britain’s best freestyle athletes. Although my background is in freeskiing and snowboarding, I’m also absorbed by many other action sports, adventure, event’s and fictional film.

After completing a degree in Film, Production and Technology with a first class honours, I am constantly challenging myself as a film-maker. From working slope side to capture every foreseeable angle of a mid-air freestyle display. To directing a team working on multi-angle simultaneous capture of sky dives, aerobatic adventures and even the odd bungee jump; I am always pushing to find new and innovative techniques that can communicate the character, narrative, tension and drama to create film that excites, exhilarates and entertains.

Testing Technicolor CineStyle

Today I finally got round to downloading and testing the Technicolor CineStyle Plugin for Canon DSLR’s and my initial thoughts are that it’s very good. With the standard picture profile on a Canon DSLR (in this case a 5D Mark III) comes a very sharp, crisp ‘video look’.
